Job Description:
Position: Contracts Manager (Structural Steel)
Location: Harrow, Greater London
Salary: £70,000 to £80,000
Role Overview:
As a Contracts Manager in the field of Structural Steel, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from set-up to handover and evaluation. Your key duties will include managing project compliance with specifications, tracking and reporting progress at client meetings, planning and allocating resources (materials, labor, sub-contractors), and ensuring adherence to safety standards in collaboration with the Site Safety Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Weekly reporting at client update meetings.
- Resource planning (materials, labor, sub-contractors).
- Collaborate with the Site Safety Officer to uphold safety standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant experience in Contracts Management, specifically in Structural Steel projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong knowledge of project specifications and compliance.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to plan and allocate resources effectively.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
- Qualifications related to Construction Management or Structural Engineering are advantageous.
