Job Summary:
Join our team as a Health & Safety Advisor in a leading Irish construction consultancy firm. This role offers a diverse range of projects in Dublin, allowing a mix of on-site and remote work. As an entry-level position, you'll collaborate with a renowned construction consultancy firm and contribute to ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to the Health and Safety Manager.
- Ensure that site personnel comply with safety and company requirements.
- Implement and maintain the company's Safety Management System.
- Conduct site inspections/audits and report findings.
- Identify training needs and communicate them to the project EHS Manager.
- Deliver Health and Safety Inductions and conduct weekly Toolbox Talks.
- Chair Safety Meetings and contribute to accident/incident investigations.
- Submit weekly reports on safety-related activities.
- Conduct site walks and report findings to project supervisors.
- Advise and assist site teams in drafting Safe Plans of Action.
Requirements:
- Essential qualification in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role is required.
- Experience in the Construction Sector is highly desired.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Understanding of Statutory Consents and Building Control Regulations.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changes.
