About the Role:
As a Probation Services Officer (PSO), your responsibilities will align closely with those of a fully qualified probation officer, with a focus on clients assessed as medium and lower risk. This role, while rewarding, is undeniably challenging.
Your key tasks will involve risk assessment and management, delivering essential information to courts, and collaborating closely with various agencies within the justice system. Furthermore, you'll provide comprehensive support to individuals on probation, ranging from practical guidance on housing and employment to offering a listening ear and empathetic understanding.
About You:
While a degree is not a prerequisite for this role, we place greater emphasis on your personal attributes. Ideally, you'll bring experience in working with individuals facing social or personal challenges, demonstrating empathy, patience, and resilience. Strong writing skills are imperative, as you will be responsible for producing concise and accurate reports within tight deadlines.About Us:
